About the Position

Nortridge is looking for a highly motivated & self-driven Sales Representative to join our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver revenue to achieve sales goals, to build out the organization and infrastructure, as well as make meaningful connections with our customers.

Required Skills and Experience

The job of a Sales Representative is personal and collaborative, requiring the following skills:

  • Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs
  • Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network
  • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale
  • Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers
  • Develop and plan actions to commercialize new products/services into the customer base and to penetrate new customers in order to stimulate the sales
  • Collaboration- Must work well and collaborate with multiple departments
  • Attend marketing events such as conferences and webinars, and build relationships with clients
  • Conduct ongoing prospecting activities in your territory aligned to your overall territory strategy
  • Carry out cold calling to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings
  • Identify and develop new business through networking and follow-up courtesy calls
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of software to customers
  • Market and promote a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and attending industry events
  • Develop effective sales plans using sales methodology
  • Meet sales targets set by managers and contribute to team targets
  • Network with existing customers to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades
  • Manage workload to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals
  • Contribute to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues
  • Nortridge Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to conceptualize, build, and deploy meaningful outreach activities that support goal attainment

  • Business planning and budget development
  • True accountability for revenue generation and proven track record for meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • A hunter that can seek out new opportunities and is not afraid to prospect
  • Able to expand and enhance existing opportunities to build and manage the pipeline
  • Experience with CRM such as Hubspot, ability to come up to speed quickly on using this tool to drive change and sales wins
  • Able to work with customers to understand business and develop business cases and ROI to support change
  • Experience establishing a professional working relationship, up to the executive level, with the client
